Run the whole shop from one screen.

GST billing, a fast counter, live inventory, purchases, payments and the returns at the end of the month. Not a video or a slide deck — this is the counter, and the arithmetic is the product’s own.

what you actually get

The first three minutes

You never meet “an app you install”.

and you are told so, up front

You get a fourteen-day live demo of the finished product, already loaded with a working shop, in a frame that keeps saying this is generic — yours will be tailor-made.

five questions, one tap each

  1. 01What kind of business is it?Nine trades — retail, kirana, pharmacy, wholesale, electronics, restaurant, services, manufacturing
  2. 02What are you using today?Paper · Excel · Tally · another app · nothing yet
  3. 03How big is the team, and how many bills a month?Sizes the counter, the roles and the reports
  4. 04What is going wrong? The sentence that ends up at the top of the brief
  5. 05When would you like to move?Now · 1–3 months · 3–6 months · still looking

Using the demo is filling in the requirements document.

Fields you keep, modules you leave on, the theme you settle on — all of it is collected while you poke around, and becomes the specification we quote against.

So the Stock filters and the dashboard’s “Needs attention” card have honest content on the first minute. Nobody opens an empty table and wonders what the screen is for.

A counter that keeps up with the person at the front of it.

built for a queue
The NEXONE billing counter, with the product grid, customer keypad and live GST totals

Mobile number first

Every bill opens on a keypad. A known number brings up the customer, their last visit and anything they owe. A new one asks for a name and saves them.

Scan or type, Enter, done

Exact barcode wins, then SKU, then fuzzy name. The line flashes and scrolls itself into view, so a scan is acknowledged without looking up.

Park and resume

Several bills at once, and a parked cart survives a browser crash — it is in the database, not in memory.

Split the payment

Cash, card and UPI on one bill, denomination buttons with automatic change, and a UPI QR with the amount already in it. No card machine needed.

Guard rails, not road blocks

Out-of-stock lines are flagged before checkout. A credit-limit breach warns with the exact figures — and still lets you decide.

Discounts a cashier cannot give

Per-line discounts are capped by the product’s maximum, and a cashier without price rights cannot change a rate at all.

an honest limit

A counter sale is final. POS bills cannot be edited — you raise a credit note, which is deliberate and correct for GST. And the layout wants a wide screen: on a phone it stacks and works, but this is not a phone-first till.

One bill, all the way through

The sale you just rang up, followed to the GST return.

nothing is entered twice

One sale, followed from the scan to the return it ends up in. Nothing is entered twice, because every screen reads the same data.

Ring it up

Mobile number, scan, split the payment, print. Built for a queue.

Every screen reads the same data, so the bill is entered once and turns up everywhere it is relevant — including in next month’s return.

The arithmetic

The totals always add up. That is not a figure of speech.

there is a test for the ₹60.01 case

One engine computes every figure in the product. Money is integer paise, never a float. A whole-bill discount is spread across lines by weight. Round-off happens once, on the grand total. And CGST and SGST are halves of one computed GST figure, so they reconcile to the paisa.

Halves of the one figure above — never rounded independently, so they always sum back to it.

The tax decides itself.

Place of supply drives it — the customer’s state, not their billing address. Move this customer and the bill rewrites itself. The editor in the product says so on screen, too.

It fits your shop

Switch off what you don’t use. The app shrinks around you.

switch one off and the screens go

The first question in the survey is the one that reshapes everything. Batches, serial numbers, warehouses, credit limits, price lists, job cards — each takes its screens and its form fields with it. That is how one demo serves a pharmacy and a repair shop.

“A queue at the counter and a thousand small lines a day.”

No batches, no serials, no job cards — the forms lose the fields and the menu loses the screens.

Light, dark and system, three densities, three corner styles — all contrast-checked.

Sixty-eight optional fields

Hide what you never fill in. The essential ones cannot be hidden.

Your invoice, not ours

Four layouts, A4 down to 58mm thermal, your own brand accent, logo, signature and UPI QR — with a live preview.

Numbering that is yours

Prefix, padding, financial year and reset rule. A document number is never reused, not even after a cancellation.

The NEXONE theme picker, showing all eight themes

Eight themes, and the invoice is yours before the build starts.

Whatever you settle on comes back to us — which is why the demo is the brief. The theme you kept, the fields you hid and the modules you left on are the first three lines of the specification.

Who can see what

A cashier cannot see what the shop earned.

enforced on the data, not the markup

Six roles, optional PINs, idle auto-lock and a switch-user lock screen. Permissions are applied to the data, so hiding a column is not how it works — the figures never arrive.

  • Stock is a ledger, not a number

Nothing writes a quantity. Every change is a move, so an item’s history shows where each unit came from and what it cost.

  • Everything is recorded

Sales, purchases, payments, stock corrections and settings changes — who and when, written automatically and not editable.

  • The data never leaves the device

The shop’s books live in its own browser. The demo layer can mirror to the cloud; the business cannot.

Filing is an export, not a project: a 3B-style summary with the set-off, then GSTR-1 B2B, B2C and HSN tables — every one of them lands as CSV.
